Director of knitwear pedagogy, Head of Knitwear Major, Master of Arts in Fashion Design Adam Jones is a highly experienced knitwear designer who studied at Brighton University, he began his career at Kenzo before becoming the director of knitwear for Christian Dior. In 2001 he launched Adam Jones Paris, a luxury womenswear line which he presented in Paris as an invited member of the “Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode. Until 2009 his collection was sold worldwide in prestigious boutiques including: Barney’s N.Y, Brown’s UK, Corso Como Milan, Joyce Hong Kong and L’Eclaireur Paris. As well as running an international fashion consultancy business, he has collaborated with Uniqlo under the Adam Jones label. He has taught fashion knitwear at “L’ecole De la Chambre Syndicale de la couture Parisienne” for 3 years. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and has a postgraduate degree in “Academic Practice of the arts” from University Arts London.
